About Us

The Saudi General Surgery Society was established by a decision of the King Abdulaziz University Council in its second meeting held on 11/8/1421 AH (2001 AD). The society provides a supportive environment for its doctors, enabling them to benefit from unique professional opportunities for growth and development, and to participate in conferences and events that contribute to enhancing the field of surgery.

The society also encourages all surgeons to participate effectively to support professional communication and achieve scientific progress in this vital specialty.

Our Vision

Developing theoretical and applied knowledge, encouraging research, and providing scientific and applied consultations and studies to both public and private sectors, in accordance with the regulations outlined in the organizational rules of scientific associations in Saudi universities.
